The main library and most of the local libraries offer a possibility to organise exhibitions. Contact details for the libraries
No fees are collected for using the adult exhibition area in the main library or the exhibition spaces in the local libraries. The Mikkeli-sali hall in the main library, in contrast, has a user fee (see below).
The organiser of the event or exhibition is responsible for supervising the event, implementing and supervising the exhibition, and the exhibition material. Users of the library premises are liable for any damages they may cause to the premises or library property, and they are to follow the Library User Regulations.
The organiser of the event or exhibition is responsible for the publicity. The library can announce the event or exhibition in its own communication networks and at the library premises if the organiser provides timely image and other presentation material (posters etc.). This must be agreed upon at the time of booking the space.
